Registering, Getting Surveys and Rewards

Is membership free?

Yes, there are no costs to be a member of Surveygoo Panel. If you take your rewards as Amazon Vouchers of Gift Pay, there are no charges at all. If you choose to take cash rewards Pay Pal do make a small charge on each reward claimed.

How do I get surveys?

Sign up and download the App

Sign up via this website or via our App. Create an account, look out for an email to confirm your membership. Survey invitations are sent   by email, but available surveys are also viewed within the member login of the website and survey app.

How many surveys can I do a month?

The number of surveys per month varies, depending on where you live, your profile, time of year, and how many clients have commissioned surveys. You could expect 1 – 7 surveys a month.

How can I get more surveys?

Fill out your membership profile, look out for survey email invitations and login to your account via the website or app.

Member Profile

It is recommended you fill out your profile because it increases your chances of being sent relevant survey invitations. You don’t have to fill out your profile straightaway as you can do it when you want, via the website or app. Also, you receive extra rewards for filling out your profile.

Rewards

How much can I earn as a member of Surveygoo panel?

Our rewards paid on each survey depend on the length of interview. You can also earn rewards from prize draws, loyalty rewards and completing your profile. Typical rewards for individual surveys range between £0.16 and £.032 for surveys between 1 minute and 5 minutes.

Do all surveys pay a reward?

Yes, if you complete a survey. You will be notified of the reward amount and the estimated time to finish the survey before you take it.

How do I check my rewards?

Login to your account via the website or via the App to check your rewards. Survey emails also show the current balance.

How do I claim my rewards?

You can claim your rewards if you have a balance of £10 or more.

Log into your account (website or app) and click on Redeem Rewards. Choose reward type and value, then click on the Claim reward button. Rewards are typically paid within 2 – 5 days.

If you are claiming rewards via Pay Pal, you must have a valid account and have set the correct email in your Surveygoo account. Once paid, you need to accept the payment within Pay Pal. Note, there are charges made by Pay Pal to draw down the balance.

There are no charges for rewards claimed as Amazon or Gift Pay vouchers.

Cancel my membership

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes, you can unsubscribe at any time.

How do I cancel my membership?

Log into your account via the website and click on unsubscribe.

Managing my Account and Technical Queries

Can I change my email address?

Yes. Log into your account and update your account details. You can also change your email within the app or by contacting support. Please provide details of yhour postcode or date of birth when contacting support to verify your account.

Always make sure you have your current Pay Pal address registered in your account if you choose to have rewards paid in this way.

Problems logging on

If you are having problems logging in, please try the following before contacting support.

Username or password is showing as invalid or unrecognised

Make sure that:- There isn't a typo in your username or password.- You've entered your full email address. For example, "[email protected]" instead of "[email protected]"- Caps lock is turned off.- Type your email and password rather than copying and pasting them- Your keyboard is in the right language.- Refresh your browser and try signing in again.

Make sure your cookies are turned on

If your cookies aren't enabled, turn them on and try logging into your Opinion account again.If you're still getting an error message, here are some possible solutions. Try each one, then try signing in.1. Open a new browser window.2. Clear your browser's cache and cookies.

How to clear cache and cookies

Cookies, which are files created by websites you’ve visited, and your browser’s cache, which helps pages load faster, make it easier for you to browse the web.Clearing your browser’s cache and cookies means that website settings (like usernames and passwords) will be deleted and some sites might appear to be a little slower because all of the images have to be loaded again.On Google ChromeOn your computer, open Chrome.

  1. On your browser toolbar, click More More Tools Clear Browsing Data .
  2. In the "Clear browsing data" box, click the checkboxes for Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files .
  3. Use the menu at the top to select the amount of data that you want to delete. Choose beginning of time to delete everything.
  4. Click Clear browsing data .

Questions about Surveys

Clicked on survey link but message says survey is closed or quota is full

Survey closed

This means the survey has been completed. Surveys usually run for 2 - 4 days. When the desired number of completes has been reached the survey closes automatically

Quota Full

When the desired number of completes have been reached in a particular demographic (e.g. age, region, gender) the survey will close for that particular demographic

Error message and problems with Surveys

Error messages

It is possible to get error messages on a survey if:1) Cookies are not enabled in your browser2) If a survey is left open and the browser session times out (you cannot restart the survey again with the same link if this happens)3) If you click on a survey link to start it, stop and then reclick the same link

I can't open the survey link/survey link does not work

Other Survey Problems

Not getting enough surveys

Make sure that:- Your profile is completed and up to date- That survey invites aren't going to spam- That you have downloaded the Opinion App and you have enabled alerts- Log in to your account via the website and Opinion App to check survey opportunities

I have been Screened Out

Screenouts mean you do not meet the profiling criteria for a particular survey.If you are screened out, you may be asked to take another survey opportunityIf you are screened out, you do not earn any rewards as a survey complete has not been registered

Why does my account show a negative?

Negatives occur when survey responses have been submitted that are deemed in appropriate or fail certain quality checksWe cannot share with you which questions caused a quality failure but the following criteria may be used to identify "bad" or "untruthful" responses which can result in negative rewards/deductions:

Survey Speeding If a survey is completed much faster than is deemed acceptable within a range of time.

  Inconsistent or Inaccurate Answers Contradictory, inconsistent and illogical answers identified within a survey

Red Herring questions Sometimes test questions are planted to check the panel member is paying attention to the survey and answering questions accurately. 

Open Ended Questions If a response to an open ended question is deemed inappropriate, not sensible, not fitting for the question or offensive, the survey response may be removed. In which case, the incentive may be removed.
